UPGRADED VERSION OF HISTORICAL MARKET SUMMARY - 30th NOVEMBER 2015
Our Historical Market Summary application has been upgraded to extend the time horizon back to 1st January 2014, add the facility to download half hourly data across this whole period in a matter of seconds and add new charts related to the balancing mechanism and dynamic parameters. The new version also has additions in order to speed up the delivery of data to the screen.
This acts as a first step towards taking our historical analysis applications back to the 1st January 2010 giving a highly detailed historical view of the market. This application offers a detailed and growing view of the market simplifying historical analysis from timely data analysis to instant charting.
RESTRUCTURING OF NETA REPORTS DATA SITE – 19th SEPTEMBER 2015
EnAppSys has restructed the menu structure on the www.netareports.com data site in order to simplify access for new users. Data should now be found in a more logical menu structure with definitions given for data series where appropriate to explain the data available to be downloaded.
On-going improvements will continue to upload additional data streams and maximise the value provided by the service.
RELEASE OF UNIFIED NETA REPORTS PLATFORM – 16th June 2015
EnAppSys has released an update to bring together the existing www.netareports.com data services and our satellite applications such historical analysis of generator activity and live market monitoring into one interconnected service.
Navigation between these services is now possible via a menu bar at the top and where services exist which you do not currently have access to, access can be made available via trial access.
The update also brings into service a new revenue modelling service, using to model the levels of gross profitability at units historically and in near real-time and improved market prices modules that now include estimates for energy and carbon costs at a range of standard efficiency CCGT and coal plants.
Targeted linking between services is now also possible so that for instance when monitoring real-time market activity a quick link (or navigation via menu bar) is available to show the corresponding activity historically.
Indications of system price activity have also been introduced to the market summary applications, for instance to highlight on historical heatmaps when system actions have occurred and on the real-time market activity feed. Live frequency data alongside fuel mix deltas also shows the key activity occurring live in the market.
Further updates are expected to follow to unify the login system across all the applications and in the longer-term a further update should follow to extend historical views back to 2010. When live this will show activity at power stations in full back to 2010 with the ability to zoom into activity at half hourly resolution across that whole time range.
Note that some updated screenshots are now available in the ‘Products and Services’ section of this website.
