European Sales Manager

Job Description

Montel Group are growing again! To facilitate this, we are seeking sales professionals to sell the complete range of Montel Group products to energy market participants across Europe. We are looking for candidates with 2-4 years sales experience, ideally in software or data centric products, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.

The position is based in Germany, we have offices in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Berlin. Our workspace is dynamic, international and a very stimulating environment allowing us to work in one of the most advanced/ interesting markets currently in the industry.

A typical day will include

  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads across continental European energy markets.
  • Follow up in-bound enquiries, qualifying leads and running the sales process from start to finish.
  • Schedule discussions and system demonstrations with sales prospects (to be delivered by the candidate for easily accessible products and by subject matter experts for complex platform products).
  • Track sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.
  • Attend conferences and trade events to represent the Montel Group and network with industry experts.
  • Meet and/or exceed sales quotas.
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments across Montel to optimise the sales effort.
  • What are we looking for?

  • CRM and sales pipeline management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and working knowledge / awareness of CRM and subscription management systems.
  • A strong understanding of energy markets combined with direct energy market experience.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel (European) to meet the needs of the business.

    • Salary: negotiable depending on experience.
    • 25 days annual holiday.
