European Sales Executive

Job Description

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking sales professionals to work from our Stockton office to sell the complete range of Montel Group products to energy market participants across Europe.

EnAppSys joined the Montel Group in January 2023 and together we are now looking to expand our integrated European Sales operation. The combined Montel Group product range includes Montel News, Market Price Data and Montel Analytics platform products (including EnAppSys).

Experience Level

We are looking for candidates with 2-4 years sales experience with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.

Key duties

  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads across the UK and continental European energy markets, using a combination of telesales, email and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Follow up in-bound enquiries, qualifying leads and running the sales process from start to finish.
  • Manage existing accounts for the purposes of subscription renewals and upselling of additional products.
  • Schedule system demonstrations with sales prospects (to be delivered by the candidate for easily accessible products and by subject matter experts for complex platform products).
  • Track sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.
  • Attend conferences and trade events to represent the Montel Group and network with industry experts.
  • Meet and/or exceed sales quotas.
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments across Montel to optimise the sales effort.

General Rquirements

  • CRM and sales pipeline management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and working knowledge / awareness of CRM and subscription management systems.
  • A basic understanding of energy markets would be beneficial but not essential as would a second European language.
  • Willingness to travel (Europe) to meet the needs of the business.
