Sales Manager

Job Description

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to work from either our Stockton (GB) or Terneuzen (NL) office to complement existing sales activity.

Ideally with a Bachelor’s degree, the chosen candidate will focus primarily on the development and delivery of outbound sales campaigns to complement current Inbound and Customer Success activities, but will work across all sales channels, managing junior sales team members.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Reporting to the Commercial Director, develop and deliver outbound marketing campaigns across the UK and continental European energy markets.
  • Direct and support junior sales team members to identify, prospect and qualify new sales leads across the UK and continental European energy markets, using a combination of telesales, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Track sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
  • Communicate customer and prospect product requirements to development teams.
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.
  • Meet and/or exceed quotas.
  • Coordinate with other EnAppSys team members and departments to ensure sales activity is fully coordinated with product development and other critical activities.
  • Coach junior members of the sales team in sales best practice.

Qualification and Experience

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a proven ability to develop and co-ordinate outbound sales campaigns, meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • A basic understanding of energy markets would be beneficial but not essential as would a second European language.

  • Salary: circa £45k+ depending on experience plus bonus based on sales targets
  • Location: Stockton-on-Tees.
