Job Description

We are seeking a Software Sales executive for our Stockton office. This role will work closely with teams in the UK and the Netherlands and will provide technical expertise to our customers throughout the UK markets whilst contributing to EnAppSys’ drive towards building a wider customer base throughout Europe. We aim to build our customer base by winning new business and maximizing revenue potential with our current end users. This is a new role and therefore an exciting opportunity for a professional from the IT and/or energy markets to develop sales strategies, maintain customer contact, provide technical forecasting and assist with the development of our existing product base.

EnAppSys provides information services and management consultancy to the wholesale energy markets. We are a high growth company providing value enhanced energy information and analysis. Due to further successful business growth, we are building out our sales team and are looking for an experienced sales executive to enable us to continue to grow our client base.

This is an important business role, key to the future growth of our business. EnAppSys is a privately held business that has experienced continuing strong double-digit growth year on year for the previous ten years. We provide services globally from our base in Stockton-on-Tees and via our subsidiary companies in other European countries.


Education: Business or technical education, ideally degree level in engineering, economics, maths or software development.

Technical knowledge gained through operational development or a technical sales role. Business development and relationship building experience. Proactive with exemplary communication skills. Strong technical sales skills ideally is Saas Business. Able to communicate well and build strong relationships. Ability to work within different markets. Entrepeneurial with excellent organisational skills. Fluent in European languages and EU passport holder would be a distinct advantage. Willingness to travel.


  • Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
  • Position: Full time, permanent position.
  • Other benefits: 23 days holiday per annum (25 after two years service).
  • Location: Stockton-on-Tees, UK or Terneuzen, the Netherlands, with scope for travel within Europe
