Prices

Average Day-Ahead price was €139.89/MWh, from €159.69/MWh last week. Price peaked at €240.01/MWh on Monday 12th September at 21:00.

Average System Price Positive was €73.51/MWh, whilst average System Price Negative was €133.43/MWh.

Generation and Demand

Total demand was 4527GWh, with an average hourly demand of 26.95GW, and a 33.75GW peak.

Gas (9.90 GW), nuclear (6.90 GW) and wind (6.57 GW) were the largest contributors. Interconnectors had a net export of 3.40 GW on average this week.

Interconnectors’ flows

Net physical flow with France was: -408GWh. Total of energy exported was 408GWh, whilst energy imported was 0GWh.

Net physical flow with Portugal was: -163GWh. Total of energy exported was 200GWh, whilst energy imported was 37GWh.

Overall, net physical flow was: -572GWh. Largest hourly import was -0.19GW, on Monday 12th September at 21:00. Largest hourly export was 5.76GW, on Friday 16th September at 23:00.

Prices

Average Day-Ahead price was €159.69/MWh, from €169.86/MWh last week. Price peaked at €300/MWh on Saturday 10th September at 21:00.

Average System Price Positive was €107.67/MWh, whilst average System Price Negative was €169.48/MWh.

Generation and Demand

Total demand was 4567GWh, with an average hourly demand of 27.18GW, and a 32.33GW peak.

Gas (11.41 GW), nuclear (6.93 GW) and wind (4.44 GW) were the largest contributors. Interconnectors had a net export of 4.02 GW on average this week.

Overall, net physical flow was: -675GWh. Largest hourly import was -1.61GW, on Monday 5th September at 08:00. Largest hourly export was 5.46GW, on Wednesday 7th September at 13:00.
